How to Style Vintage Pants.

Dearest Butterflies!

This little post of mine is a small token of appreciation to you, for sticking by me even when I am not active. Thank you for all the love that you constantly pour through your likes and follows. I had this one planned for the longest time.. and happy that it’s eventually gonna be up.

I have always had a thing for vintage clothing and the newest trend of the Peg leg trousers / vintage tailored pants/ knotted trousers.. had me falling in love with vintage all over again. I had got this one tailored for myself from a shop on instagram.. but unfortunately the fit was a bit off and the alterations killed a lot of time. There are numerous ways to style this one .. tees and crop tops.. kitten heels or oxfords… all go pretty well with it, adding a more contemporary feel to the outfit. But I decided to keep its vintage charm alive by pairing it with a oversized collared shirt and a pair of kitten heels.

Embroidery and embroidered patches are everywhere .. and this pretty collared shirt wasn’t hard to find. I love the how pretty and soothing the color looks and also the embroidered detail adds the perfect vintage feel to it.

Bandanas are one of the cutest hair accessories at the moment and the are back with a bang. There are pretty many ways to wear them and they look so vintage and boho depending on how you style them.

The kitten heels are also making a major comeback this season and this red kitten heel pump screams vintage. It is super comfy and I loved how it complemented the whole outfit. I recently purchased this cutesy red sling bag with a gold chain and a small tassel detail from Jabong Sale and got it for and unbelievably low price.

Leaving the details and links of the outfit below. Hope you people enjoy the pics.. Sorry for the poor lighting. Sure, you can make out how grey the days have been from the pics.. and guess what… it started raining  just seconds after I was done with the shoot…So phew! It was a pretty narrow escape.

Those who follow me on snapchat would know it all.. Also please don’t forget to like and comment. I would love to hear your ideas about this outfit.

Huge love, xoxo
