They say.. ”Life begins at the end of your comfort zone..”But you needn’t leave your comfort zone to keep up with fashion. Fashion off late has become synonymous with comfort and that’s the reason why trends like pjs, slip dresses , trackpants, bralettes, oversized everything, messy out of the bed hair , barely there makeup look , slide slippers etc have become increasingly popular.
So now you can wake up from bed , pull on an oversized t shirt with messy hair and leave your home looking perfectly chic and trendy. That’s it! That’s how easy it’s become and that’s the extent to which comfort has influenced the fashion scene today. So it’s a yay! day for a lazy girl like me and I am making hay as the sun is shining.
From keeping unkempt hair , to leaving home in Pjs.. I have been doing it all and here are one of those days where I decided to go shopping in my track pants. Track pants on streets have long been in, as a part of the athleisure trend, which include other comfy gym apparels like sports bras, joggers, hoodies and sports shoes. But for me track pants have been more like my pj’s and I have been wearing them at home , at gym and at work too.
So here I decided to pair this red track pant with a sexy lacy black camisole and a light wash denim jacket. I got these tracks from Zara during my travels to Mumbai and I completely love the black side stripe detail and the ankle length side slit on it. The material is a blend and not very breathable but the fit and the color are perfect. I have been wearing it very often ever since I bought it , yet it still looks fresh and new.
Coming to the jacket..I looked around a lot but wasn’t able to spot a decent light wash denim jacket for long.. until I found this one on Flipkart a week back. And even though I love how denim jackets make you look so casual yet put together.. I hate fact that they are so heavy. This one too is heavy, but since it’s oversized it gives enough space to move.
The black camisole is an old one and I got it from New Market, Kolkata last winter. Its delicate and the lace embroidery is beautiful. I accessorized my look with a pair of retro gold hoops, my basic black bag from Forever21 and black lace up block heel sandals. I completed my look with a pop of red color on my lip and did a basic winged liner. Kept my hair natural and loose as usual and I was set to go.
Bidding adieu! Until next time. Enjoy the pics and don’t forget to like and comment.
