I know I have been MIA on the blog for a week now.. and I am really sorry about that.. but I promise I’ll make up to you guys by writing more frequently from now onwards.
So last week when I was not blogging, I had a good lot of ‘ME TIME’ and I spent most of it with my family watching movies, reading, cuddling my little niece, going through some old pictures, reminiscing some of the most fun and beautiful moments of my life…and while I was at it, I came across a few pictures from my travels to South Africa.
They reminded me not just of the good times I had spent there but also of things I had bought for myself as souvenirs. Among all the other things I had bought .. this yellow dress is my favorite and I had been saving it for summers because of the bright summery colors it has..
But then, because I am me.. who can never really sticks to her plans…and always breaking fashion rules.. I just decided to give a damn! and wear it. So i wore this for a little shopping errand a day ago.
I love how the yellow and bright blue color broke the monotony of the season’s grey and neutral palette of colors that are flooding the fashion scene around the world. Also the material, the bodycon fit and the tribal print that is so characteristic of South Africa gave it this really sharp look.. I decided to pair it with a classic wardrobe essential – A black blazer and my seasons favorite shoe .. my black over the knee boots. I completed the look with my Aldo sunnies and a black duffle bag i got from Mustafa market Singapore a year ago. Hope you guys like this outfit. Till then stay tuned for more. xoxo
